🚀 Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up and run the Gmail MCP Server:

1. Visit the Releases Page

To get the latest version of the application, visit this page: Releases Page.

2. Choose Your Version

On the Releases page, you will see a list of available versions. Select the version labeled as "Latest". This is the most stable release with all the latest features and fixes.

3. Download the Application

Click on the version number you selected. Look for the assets section. You will see files available for download. Click on the file that matches your operating system.

4. Install the Application

After downloading the file, locate it in your downloads folder. Follow these steps based on your operating system:

For Windows:

Find the downloaded .exe file.
Double-click the file to start the installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

For macOS:

Locate the downloaded .dmg file.
Open the file to mount it.
Drag the application to your Applications folder.
Open the application from your Applications folder.

For Linux:

Open your terminal.
Navigate to the directory where the file is downloaded.

Use the following command to install:

5. Launch the Application

Once installed, you can launch the Gmail MCP Server:

Windows: Find it in your Start menu and click to open.

🔑 Setting Up OAuth2 Authentication

Before you can send or manage emails, set up OAuth2 authentication:

Go to the Google Developer Console.
Create a new project and enable the Gmail API.
Configure the consent screen and create credentials.
Save your client ID and client secret.

When you first open the Gmail MCP Server, enter your credentials to authenticate.
