An MCP server that slurps data from Google News and Google Trends RSS endpoints, optionally distills it with LLM/NLP, and barfs out structured results.
When using uv no specific installation is needed. We will
use uvx to directly run google-news-trends-mcp.
pip install google-news-trends-mcp
After installation, you can run it as a script using:
