💳 Stripe Finance MCP Server

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server built with ASP.NET Core that connects Claude Desktop to Stripe financial data. Ask Claude questions about payments, revenue, and customers in plain English.

🎯 What it does

Connect Claude Desktop to your Stripe account and ask questions like:

• "Show me my recent payments"
• "Are there any failed payments?"
• "Give me a revenue summary"
• "Show me my customers"

Claude automatically calls the right MCP tool and returns real Stripe data.

🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• .NET 8.0 SDK
• Node.js (for mcp-remote)
• Claude Desktop (free at claude.ai/download)
• Stripe account (free test mode)

Setup

1. Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/stripe-finance-mcp-server.git
cd stripe-finance-mcp-server

2. Add your Stripe test key

Create appsettings.Development.json:

Get a free test key at dashboard.stripe.com

3. Install mcp-remote

npm install -g mcp-remote

4. Run the server

dotnet run

Server starts at http://localhost:5014

5. Configure Claude Desktop

Open Claude Desktop → File → Settings → Developer → Edit Config

Add to claude_desktop_config.json:
